I have a recurring habit: I build things because something in my own life is irritating me enough that I can no longer leave it alone.

Not because I sat down with a market-size spreadsheet. Usually there is just a problem sitting directly in front of me.

The technology changes. The instinct really has not: find the friction, figure out what is actually causing it, and build something that makes the friction disappear.

Working with AI changes the scale of what one person can attempt. It does not remove the hard problems. Some of them simply move upward.

That is a fascinating problem. And, predictably, I have started building something because it bothers me.
